ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

University Advancement Centre (UAC) – FUTA’s flagship virtual training programme is for University officers of various cadres who are already assigned or to be assigned to mobilise teaching, research and infrastructural facilities for the development and sustainability of their academic programmes through institutional alumni, corporate organisations, foundations, international donor agencies, non-governmental organisations, individual philanthropists and friends of the University. This training programme is also for professionals who want to revisit the basics, and obtain unique learning experience to further their careers.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE

The Advancement Virtual Conference will be dynamic and interactive, showcasing thought leaders, innovators and presenters from around the globe sharing tips to help participants:
  • leverage on their Board’s connections and engagement;
  • cultivate relationships with individual donors;
  • develop meaningful ways to sustain interest of donors and prospects;
  • communicate with those new prospective donors
  • utilize network for good fundraising practice to accomplish goals to grow donor database;

  • adopt professional ways of setting up a productive and sustainable Advancement Centre in post COVID -19 era;

  • build a philanthropic culture among young alumni and institution staff.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    All cancellation must be made in writing by email to the Conference Planner at dir_uac@futa.edu.ng or by mail. Cancellation requests by phone will not be accepted. Refund will be administered after the Conference. 50% of the registration fee will be refunded for cancellation made on or before February 22, 2021. No refunds will be made after February 22, 2021.
