Brief Introduction

Advancement Centre was initially created as Development and Alumni Affairs (DAA) Unit in 2005 under the administration of the then Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter O. Adeniyi and later changed to Advancement Centre in 2012 under the auspices of the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebiyi G. Daramola, fnaae with aim of meeting up with its contemporaries in Advancement Services globally.

The Centre was housed in an old building in the Senior Staff quarters, B4/30, opposite Chapel of Faith for eight (8) years before moving to its new building donated by Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc in August, 2016. Advancement Centre has multidisciplinary role to attract necessary teaching, learning, research and infrastructural facilities to the University through fundraising, alumni relations, collaborations and partnerships.
